Board

Welcome to Sweet Pea!

On behalf of the Sweet Pea Board of Directors, we would like to invite you to read through the information about this amazing preschool of the arts.  The teaching and administrative teams bring incredible skill and dedication to our “littles.”  As President of the Board and the parent of two alumni, I am very proud of Sweet Pea and the entire learning community.  If you are a current parent or someone who is interested in Sweet Pea, know that all the educators and the administrative team have extensive experience and an incredible love of children and the arts.

There are many opportunities for parents to be involved in the overall learning experience.  Some of these include: Homeroom Parent Helpers, Friends of Sweet Pea, and Tea on Tuesdays.  Parents will be informed of other opportunities as they arise throughout the school year.

You will greatly benefit from Sweet Pea’s commitment to create connections among families.  Join other families for Parents’ Morning or Night Out (a.k.a. Kid’s Club), Mom’s Night Out, the Queen Anne and Magnolia Seafair parades, Family Movie & Art days, school concerts, our annual dinner and auction, and family meals.

The richness of our children’s education at Sweet Pea, beyond tuition, is supported by many fundraising activities throughout the year.  You can support the school and build relationships by attending the Artist’s Trunk Show in November, the annual auction in March, our yard sale in July, and contributing to our Annual Appeal.  Stay tuned for more details on these, and other, fun and worthwhile events and opportunities.

Sweet Pea Cottage is a fabulous community of families, and we are so glad that you are already, or may be interested in becoming, a part of our family!

Sincerely,

Sara Eaton
