Sweet Pea Cottage is a magical place where every child is known and loved as one of our precious "Littles". We nurture growth through an experiential education using the arts to open up unlimited possibilities of exploration and compassion.

With a multicultural curriculum, our Littles discover they are part of a global family with roots throughout the world. Using our passports, we visit and celebrate all cultures, developing the value of emotional expression. Creative minds bloom as they experience inclusion, abundance, empowerment and creativity.

    Our Unique Approach

    Why Choose Sweet Pea Cottage?

    • Art

We are dedicated to the philosophy that the arts are an integral component to a child’s total development. We aspire to create a multi-lingual, cross-cultural curriculum that celebrates the arts and the creative process. We employ teaching artists from our community to give the gift of their own experiences.

    • Love

We believe that teaching each child with love creates the strongest foundation for communication and also encourages the child to find what they love to do.

    • Tradition

We value the process of handing down information, beliefs, and customs by word of mouth and by example from one generation to another. We honor cultural differences and celebrate them. It takes a village with helping hands to teach our heritage and traditions.
    • Community

We recognize and emphasize the inspiration, creativity, and friendship a community brings to a child’s life. We explore the concentric circles that reflect community.
    • World Perspective

We make it our responsibility to give significant insight into the lives of children and their families all over the world. We explore and celebrate the world.
